Welcome to the Park West Camera Club!

The Park West Camera Club is one of New York City’s oldest and most active camera clubs. Founded in 1937, PWCC is open to all who love photography, from beginners to experienced photographers. We offer a variety of programs, including photo competitions and critiques; lectures by professional photographers; member portfolio presentations and workshops; field trips; gallery exhibits; and an award-winning monthly newsletter. 

PWCC meets weekly on Monday nights at 6:30PM, currently via Zoom. Interested photographers are welcome to join our Monday meetings 30 minutes before start time to inquire about membership. The club year runs from September through June, but you may join at any time. Dues are $60.00 per year while we are meeting via Zoom. Download an application or email us at pwccny@aol.com for more information. LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS

Marilyn Stern will judge our October 2026 member competition. A New York City-based fine arts and editorial photographer, Marilyn’s work has been widely exhibited and published in the U.S. and in Europe, and she is the author of two books: ‘Kval! Die Walfänger der Lofoten (The Whale Hunters of Lofoten)’ and ‘Masked Culture: The Greenwich Village Halloween Parade,’ a long-term group project. In addition, she has written numerous articles for several magazines, including Photo District News, Across the Board, The World & I, and Travel Agent. Marilyn’s work is represented in the permanent collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts and numerous private collections. Mark your calendars: We've organized an in-studio model shoot for members on Monday, October 12th. There will be two sessions, 6:00PM-7:22PM and 7:38-9:00PM, which can accommodate up to 12 members each session. Check the email sent to members on September 28th for more details!

PWCC CLUB MEMBER NEWS

PWCC Member Natalie Manzino has three photos on view in the show "It's A Riot" at The Meeting House Gallery in New Marlborough, MA, through October 4th. For information on gallery hours and directions, go to https://nmmeetinghouse.org/art. Big congratulations to Natalie!! 

Photos taken by PWCC member Jeffrey Langford will be shown as part of the exhibit "The Honoring Eye" at the Terrain Gallery, 141 Greene St. (between West Houston and Prince Sts.). The opening reception is Saturday, September 12th, from 1:00PM-5:00PM; regular gallery hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 1:00PM-5:00PM. The exhibit runs through June 2027.
