TO THE PARK WEST CAMERA CLUB
The Park West Camera Club is one of New York City’s oldest and most active camera clubs. Founded in 1937, PWCC is open to all who love photography, from beginners to experienced photographers. We offer a variety of programs, including photo competitions and critiques; lectures by professional photographers; member portfolio presentations and workshops; field trips; gallery exhibits; and an award-winning monthly newsletter.
PWCC meets weekly on Monday nights at 6:30PM, currently via Zoom. Interested photographers are welcome to join our Monday meetings 30 minutes before start time to inquire about membership. The club year runs from September through June, but you may join at any time. Dues are $60.00 per year while we are meeting via Zoom. LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS
Our third Business Meeting on the Club year will take place on March 30th. We'll follow up on any old business left over from November’s meeting and then move on to new business, including our election procedures for next year’s Executive Committee, discussing the Club’s Otto Litzel Year-End Dinner, and much more. Join us!
Ken Hoffman will judge our April 2026 member competition on April 6th. Ken is a Professor of Communication at Seton Hall University, where he supervises the curriculum in computer graphics and teaches courses in digital photography, computer graphics, multimedia and related subjects, and is also a member of Soho Photo Gallery. He is known for multimedia work, including ‘Vietnam War Portfolio: An Interactive Learning Resource,’ which features more than 100 photographs he took during the Vietnam War combined with commentaries contributed by visitors to his website.
