Welcome to the Park West Camera Club!

The Park West Camera Club is one of New York City’s oldest and most active camera clubs. Founded in 1937, PWCC is open to all who love photography, from beginners to experienced photographers. We offer a variety of programs, including photo competitions and critiques; lectures by professional photographers; member portfolio presentations and workshops; field trips; gallery exhibits; and an award-winning monthly newsletter. 

PWCC meets weekly on Monday nights at 6:30PM, currently via Zoom. Interested photographers are welcome to join our Monday meetings 30 minutes before start time to inquire about membership. The club year runs from September through June, but you may join at any time. Dues are $60.00 per year while we are meeting via Zoom. Download an application or email us at pwccny@aol.com for more information. LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS

Our next meeting on Monday, October 12th, will feature an in-studio model shoot for members. There will be two sessions, 6:00PM-7:22PM and 7:38-9:00PM, which can accommodate up to 12 members each session. There are still slots available so please check the latest Weekly Reminder email for details on how to sign up.

PWCC CLUB MEMBER NEWS

PWCC member Laura Toledo is having a solo show for the month of October at the Oceanside Library. The show, "The Americas - A Tapestry of Land and Culture," features more than 40 photos from her travels throughout the Americas, including Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Cuba, and the United States. The collection features landscapes and the diverse communities from these countries, and reflects the richness and contrasts of The Americas: the varied terrains, architectural styles, and coexistence of colonial heritage and modern cities. The reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. Everyone is welcome! (The Oceanside Library is located at 30 Davison Avenue, Oceanside, NY. Photos taken by PWCC member Jeffrey Langford will be shown as part of the exhibit "The Honoring Eye" at the Terrain Gallery, 141 Greene St. (between West Houston and Prince Sts.). The opening reception is Saturday, September 12th, from 1:00PM-5:00PM; regular gallery hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 1:00PM-5:00PM. The exhibit runs through June 2027.
